Abigaile is about sharing and exploring food without boundaries, gimmicks or pretense. Our dishes are always evolving based on the availability of quality market ingredients, and often, a creative whim. We believe one of life’s greatest sources of joy is what happens when people come together to share a meal. So gather. Trust us. Step just a little outside your comfort zone. And enjoy food without order or rules.
Abigaile and Altahouse offer an array of private & semi-private spaces for your next event. Abigaile features both indoor & outdoor seating, fireplaces, a full bar, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Pacific. The brewery at Abigaile boasts a beautiful 15-barrel copper brewing system, dispensing up to six different types of beer at anytime. Altahouse, one of the most popular beach lounges in the South Bay is located on the second and third floor above Abigaile. From a beachy décor to the comfortable lounge seating, and of course the spectacular ocean views, Altahouse is a one-of-kind venue in Los Angeles.
Voted # 1 "Essential South Bay Restaurants, Winter 2017" - The church-turned Black Flag rehearsal space-turned restaurant has a menu as diverse as the venue’s storied history – there’s smoked pork confit pop tarts, a riff on bibimbap, and even a selection of house-brewed ales.
With an adult-friendly dining room, a nice outdoor balcony, an active bar, and large upstairs dance-floor slopfest, Abigaile has something for everyone.
It’s the small dishes that keep bringing me back — the Brazilian “chewy n gooey” cheese poofs, the roasted Medjool date and kale salad, the crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon and goat cheese, the salt ’n’ pepper prawns, the Philly cheesesteak poutine, the Moroccan lamb kibbeh.
Built on the site of a church-turned-punk rock venue, Abigaile is a restaurant and brewery located a few blocks from the ocean in Hermosa Beach. The menu changes daily, but the kitchen's commitment to global influences and domestic ingredients means you'll find anything from braised lamb belly poutine to a pho chicken salad.
“Inventive”, “sophisticated” small-plate takes on American comfort food are meant for “sharing” at this “trendy” Hermosa Beach hangout near the pier.
